Sometimes even Don Quixote wins over a windmill.

After years passed on optical sperimentations and acid colors,it seems that also my Optilabs have found a commercial interest, for OptiGod’s sake.

Specifically, the “wave pack”.

Rubbing my hands like a rapper, I return back to Illustrator.

Cheers!

Golem
is is my last experimental project between photography, glitch art and texture manipulation.

Already published a post with all the prints, in case you missed it, here, this one shows the digital pics of the series, divided in two parts (they’re more than 10). This is the second, first here.

Hope you like it, click for enlargements to see better the super sharp pixelated texture, no midtones allowed.

Besides the last experiments plus other ongoing projects I still have to show/put in the portfolio etc. (like a font family I’ve done for a comic book, but I must wait it’s published, plus other crap) I’ve taken a bit of time to restore some old massive projects done the past years.

The pics you see are taken from DESIGN/MUSIC,
check the full project here.

And here another one about a design university branding.

Still keeping on my photo-texture-glitch-whatever experiment, here some of the portraits in progress, but things are going slowly.

This technique doesn’t work as 3d material or a set of actions, the process needs to arrange the textures I’ve made from glitched photos of mine then applied on the portraits through an dreadful odissey of commands like oversaturate>supercontrast>hard mix>save as gif crappy quality & other shit.

Too long and too annoying to explain.

Hope you like this small update, last face is mine, btw.
